Upper blepharoplasty surgery helps lift droopy eyelid skin out of the way. Excess upper eyelid skin can bother patients by pushing on the eyelashes, obscuring vision (especially peripheral), and cause the eyelids to always feel heavy and tired. Some patients also have brow ptosis (drooping of the eyebrows) in addition to excess skin. If this is not treated simultaneously then a suboptimal outcome will result. This patient had an upper blepharoplasty and internal brow elevation with browpexy sutures to raise the eyebrows in a natural, pleasing manner.  She was very pleased with her results.  Dr. John Burroughs has performed thousands of blepharoplasty surgeries, and written several surgical textbook chapters for other surgeons to learn advanced techniques.
