Shown is a client that had an unfortunate and significant weight gain from a pituitary endocrine problem. She got herself stable medically and then worked very hard to achieve fantastic weight loss through diet and exercise. In fact, she has lost over 50 lbs. On the left photo, you can see her severe and unsightly stretch marks that she was very unhappy with. The photo on the right shows the post weight loss results and the wonderful improvement of her stretch marks. Normally after such weigh loss the stretch marks persist and the skin will sag considerably because it is no longer being stretched forward by the underlying fat.
We are very proud of our client, but also very happy for her results and the help that the SkinCeuticals Body Tightening concentrate and Body Retexturing treatment creams provided her. Specifically, the tightening concentrate was applied over the entire abdominal area to help tighten and shrink the skin over the area of her weight loss. The texturing cream was used over the stretch mark areas to help hydrate and smooth these areas. These two complimentary agents are applied once to twice daily to the areas of concern. Each container lasts about 3 months depending upon the areas of treatment. Without the use of these agents her external appearance would not be as good and the stretch marks much darker and more prominent.
