Dr. John Burroughs is a cosmetic eyelid and facial plastic surgeon serving the Colorado Springs area, but receives patients from throughout Colorado. One of the most common concerns of his patients is wrinkles around the mouth. These can be very difficult to manage if the skin has become wrinkled to the point that it almost looks like the outside surface of a raisin. Wrinkle Blocker injections help block the muscles that form the some of these wrinkles, so this can be helpful. Fillers help push up the wrinkles and folds from below to make them smoother, and this works well in conjunction with Wrinkle Blocker. Sometimes, however, this is not enough and chemical or laser resurfacing can provide further benefit to improve the skin quality and tone.
