Dr. John Burroughs practices cosmetic & reconstructive plastic surgery of the eyelids and face.  He just received notification that his publication, “Three Adult Cases of Orbital Hidrocystoma Presenting with Blepharoptosis” was just published and is available for online viewing.   The shortened version is that orbital cysts can cause drooping of the eyelid, and the finding of hidrocystoma cysts within the orbit is generally rare especially when presenting in adults.  He was very pleased to collaborate with his international surgeon co-authors from Brazil, who also had 2 cases to add to the series.  Definitely a challenge with the language barrier to get this project finished, but he is pleased to add information on this rare entity to the medical literature.
